Bio – Clark
Né et élevé dans la belle ville appelée Des Moines, dans l’Iowa, aux États-Unis, Clark n’avait aucune idée qu’il finirait par atterrir et vivre dans le pays qui a donné son nom à Des Moines, la France !
À la fin des années 1990 et au début des années 2000, alors qu’il était encore au Lycée, Clark était fréquemment invité à la radio avec son groupe de chant a cappella américain, The Fabulous Fourmeldyhides.
Connu sous le nom de « America’s Doowop Sensation », le groupe s’est produit avec de nombreux autres groupes de l’époque « oldies », notamment Gary Lewis & the Playboys, The Turtles, the Grass Roots, Frankie Avalon, The Diamonds et Little River Band, entre autres.
Ils ont d’ailleurs fait la Une du journal The Scotsman pour leur spectacle à guichets fermés de quinze soirs au Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Le groupe a également été présenté à la télévision nationale sur le réseau commercial QVC, où ils ont vendu 2500 CDs en seulement six minutes. Un record !
Entrepreneur depuis 35 ans, Clark a vendu ses intérêts commerciaux et a passé trois ans avec sa femme et ses enfants en Amérique du Sud avant d’arriver en France en 2018. Il est depuis, l’auteur de plusieurs livres, dont Abbey Chronicles, une série qui se déroule en Bretagne, et une autre série qui traite de l’importance des Vertus.

Travailler avec Nabine à Radio Harmonie Cornuaille est une belle expérience. Pour Clark il n’y a rien de plus intéressant que d’interviewer les Bretonnes, les Bretons et les autres personnes.
Avec ses émissions « L’invitée de Clark » et « Living Slowly », il est fier de faire partie du paysage radiophonique breton.
Born and raised in the beautiful city of Des Moines, Iowa, he had no idea that he would eventually land and live in the country that gave Des Moines its name, France! In radio since high school in Iowa, Clark was a frequent guest on radio in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s with his American a cappella singing group, The Fabulous Fourmeldyhides. Known as “America’s Doowop Sensation,” the group performed with many of the bands of the “oldies’ era including Gary Lewis & the Playboys, The Turtles, the Grass Roots, Frankie Avalon, The Diamonds and the Little River Band, among others, and were “Pick of the Day” by The Scotsman newspaper for their fifteen night sold out show at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The group was also featured on national television on the shopping network QVC, where they sold 2500 CD’s in just six minutes.
An entrepreneur for 35 years, Clark sold his business interests and with his wife and children spent three years in South America before arriving in France in 2018. He has since authored several books, including the Abbey Chronicles series which takes place in Brittany, and another series highlighting Virtues.
